Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch the game via Epic Games Launcher
2. Queue for a match (Survivor or Killer)
3. Load into the match normally
4. Play for a few minutes
5. The game crashes randomly and shows a crash reporter with 'EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION'

Bug Report – Frequent Crashes After Latest Update (Epic Games)

Hi, I’ve been experiencing frequent crashes after the latest update.

Platform: Epic Games

Error: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

Description:

The game crashes randomly, sometimes during gameplay and sometimes after matches. A crash reporter window appears with the error “Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION.”

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Launch the game via Epic Games
   
2. Enter a match (Survivor/Killer)
   
3. Play normally
   
4. Crash occurs randomly (no specific trigger)

Frequency: Very frequent (almost every session)

What I’ve Tried:

• Verified game files
  
• Used launch option (-dx11)
  
• Reset config files
  
• Disabled overlays (Discord/NVIDIA)
  
• Updated GPU drivers
  

Additional Notes:

This issue started only after the latest update. The game was stable before.
