Boss Transition Fails After Using C4 Near Middle Section

Steps to Reproduce

1. Play jumble or get equipment crate
2. get c4
3. get to boss
4. use c4 in or around the middle section
5. defeat boss
6. boss refused to go into final stage and would no longer take dmg.

Explanation

We had finished the boss but they refused to go into the death stage. It may be because we were using c4 and they lost the path to go in the middle?
