Steps to Reproduce

1. The ice and snow don't slow them down at all but make you move less than walking speed.
2. You get the elemental perk which should help.
3. The mobs are insanely fast in the gauntlet.
4. It guarantees death towards the end.

Explanation

no mobs get slowed down in glacial strata
