Character Ellis is Stuck in Wall, Unable to Unlock Gun Storage

Steps to Reproduce

1. Claimed 2 missions to get alpha clearance
2. Started this mission and ran to the gun selection
3. Hit E and my dwarf called for ellis to unlock the station but nothing happened
4. Tried again with the newly unlocked grenade station but same issue
5. Found ellis like this in the wall
6. I had not gone this direction, I didn't actually see the drone come with me through the first doors but I could have just missed it
7. I seem to be stuck with no options but to abort the mission

Explanation

Ellis will not unlock the gun storage or the grenades, seems to be stuck in the wall.
