Damage Occurs on Elevator Jump Despite No Health Loss

Steps to Reproduce
- Be back in first person after loading into a new level, but before the elevator reaches its destination.
- Jump, especially towards the edges of the elevator.
- Character is prevented from reaching full jump height but stays in the air for the same time as normal.
- Upon touching back down on the floor of the elevator, the damage sound effect plays and the edges of the screen go red.
- It does not seem to actually do damage as health value stays the same, though it might affect armor.
Explanation
While riding down in the elevator at the start of a new level, it is possible to damage yourself/activate the hurt visual and sfx if you jump.
I've also experienced what is either imput lag or strange mouse acceleration problems when in the bonus selection menus, but that could also be because my PC is old as sin.
I also just wanted to add that I've noticed that Cooper is able to harm you with his rockets, which doesn't feel great to be damaged by an ally that you can't control or comunicate with in that manner.
