Steps to Reproduce

1. start the game
2. Navigate through menus to reach the main hub
3. hit 'Esc' and hit 'exit to desktop'
4. look at the steam window - it still says 'running'

Explanation

Closing the game does not stop steam from recognizing it as running, forcing me to force close steam
