Steps to Reproduce

1. Play solo mode
2. Obtain the upgrade that creates a cloud of ice around you while you have armor
3. Pause the game

Explanation

Effects still playing while paused in solo mode. I paused the game to answer the door, and I noticed the ice cloud effect from one of my upgrades is still moving/billowing around me. Not sure if its having any effect on resources or performance.
