Steps to Reproduce
- Attempt to deposit Exponite into the REPD while holding a Gatestone.
- Have players join after crossing the barrier to see if it occurs.
- Take the Hot Feet upgrade and jump in place or move forward in a small space.
- Grant the Return to Sender upgrade to a Breech Cutter, and attempt to hit the Gatekeeper with both the forward pass and reverse pass.
- Cause a ranged-attack corespawn to aim and fire at you while standing in front of the Drive Engine, before the elevator event has started.
- Consume an energy drink while on the Ramrod and leave the can in the Roomba's path.
- Complete a game with a public lobby, win, and then leave the group.
- Statistically, this will happen every 2-3 victories of a run.
- Hit Esc to open the menu and wait 3 seconds.
Explanation
I was told the in-game bug report was better for submitting bugs. I will list all of the minor ones I have found so far.
Glitch - Gatestone Deposit - While having Expenite and holding a Gatestone, I attempted to deposit the Gatestone into the REPD, thinking it would destroy it. Instead it created a no-progress deposit bar for as long as I held the E key. After dropping the Gatestone, was able to deposit normally and unable to attempt depositing Gatestone into REPD again. Non-gamebreaking.
Glitch - No-Portrait-Teammates - When hosting a game, two players joined after passing barrier and during an event. They spawned normally, but both of their portaits/health to the side did not appear until the next floor. Player who exited the drop pod with me at the start was unaffected and had no problems. Non-gamebreaking.
Glitch - Self-HotFeet Damage - After obtaining the Hot Feet upgrade, there was a point where I got temporarily stuck in a passage that was too narrow. While pickaxing myself free, I was taking damage from the Hot Feet upgrade after jumping in place to try and get free faster. Non-gamebreaking. (If this is an intended effect, please ignore this part of the bug report)
Glitch - Breach Cutter Return to Sender No-2nd-damage - I upgraded my Breach Cutter with the Return to Sender upgrade perk and attempted to utilize this on the Gatekeeper. I noticed that no matter how big the distance, the boss only took damage from the first instance of being touched by the plasma beam. Non-gamebreaking. (If this is the intended functionality of the upgrade, please ignore this part of the bug report.)
Glitch - Premature Elevator Alert - While exploring a floor, some stray shots from an Edgestalker struck the Drive Engine of the elevator, triggering the alarm fx signifying it is under attack. However, the elevator defense event had not been started yet. Non-gamebreaking.
Sound FX - Roomba Can Collision - While loitering, I noticed the Roomba attempt to sweep up a discarded energy drink can. Instead of disappearing, the can was pushed along the floor by the Roomba as the can-hitting-floor soundfx played repeatedly in rapid fire while the can was being pushed. It happened again after the Roomba ended up pushing it a second time. Non-gamebreaking.
Display - Temporary False 'Lost' - After my first public lobby game, which was a victory, I noticed that the 'Recent Runs' tab displayed it as a 'Lost' result. This later corrected after returning from another match. Non-gamebreaking.
Timeout(?) - Shut Up Omega - Occasionally when reclaiming a facility, Omega will use one of the longer speeches celebrating the mission success. However the game will still cut from the level to the victory screen, cutting off the ends of these longer dialogue sections. Non-gamebreaking.
Performance(?) - Fan Frenzy Esc Menu - I've noticed when looking at my character in the Esc Menu, it causes my computer fans to kick into overdrive. I was told by the community that this bug has been reported in the past, but to report it again anyway for clarity.
