Xbox Controller X Button Switches to Mouse+Keyboard Input

Steps to Reproduce

1. Walk up to an object/event
2. Given option to hit X on controller to interact
3. Hit X on controller
4. Game switches from controller input to mouse+keyboard input
5. Object/event now has the option to hit E to intereract

Explanation

I use an Xbox controller for the game, and every key seems to function properly except for the X button. X interacts with objects/stations/events/etc, but when I hit X on the controller, it switches to the Mouse+Keyboard controls and makes me hit E instead.
