I have only ever experienced this once, and I am unsure of how to reproduce it. This is a desync issue however and was baffling, so all I can provide is a description of what happened along with footage.

Steps to Reproduce
- survivor repairs a generator
- attempt to grab survivor
- if the survivor is injured that grab may become a swing that downs them
- If the grab was a swing, the survivor becomes stuck in a limbo repairing the generator
- If the grab succeeded, the survivor will be locked in the repair animation
- hook repair animation locked survivor
- all control freezes momentarily
- survivor is hooked but becomes invisible for a few second before returning to normal on the hook
Explanation
I encountered two incidents in the same match which of which were (presumably) desync issues tied to grabbing survivors off of generators.
The first happened as I grabbed a survivor off of a generator, which triggered DMS on said generator. The survivor however remained in the repair animation while I was carrying her, and bugged out upon getting hooked. The second occurrence was with a different survivor. She was injured and working on a generator I went to grab her. Instead of completing the grab the game switched it into a basic attack, which downed her. Despite being downed, she remained in the position repairing the generator. I couldn't hit her and I couldn't pick her up. She also appeared to be stuck herself as she was unable to complete any skill checks, constantly blowing the generator over and over again. This appears to have been fixed by another survivor going to heal her but I am not sure.
