Steps to Reproduce

1. Start Dead By Daylight through Proton on Steam
2. EAC init pop-ups
3. Failed to open descriptor file../../../DeadByDaylight/DeadByDaylight.uproject

Explanation

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for support, but why can't I launch Dead By Daylight on Steam without stumbling on the Failed to open descriptor file ../../../DeadByDaylight/DeadByDaylight.uproject. I tried

• running this game under Proton-CachyOS, Proton-GE, Proton-11.0-2, and Proton Experimental
• verifying integrity of game files
• appending -dx11 after %command% in launch options
