I have no idea what caused this nor how it could possibly be recreated, but still felt it worth reporting. The "steps to reproduce" will simply describe prior context to the incident.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Queued into the map showcase for the mall map as Hillbilly, running a stealth build with muffler
  2. Played a game of "play while you wait" as survivor
  3. Began match as killer with nothing out of the ordinary
  4. Spoke a little in end game chat
  5. Left lobby
  6. Game froze after load screen ended

Explanation

My game froze after exiting the postgame screen and going back to the queue/character select screen. I couldn't exit the game or alt tab without using task view to move the game to a different desktop.
