| Actual Result: |
The mouse/camera sensitivity suddenly becomes extremely high near a Survivor, causing rapid and uncontrollable camera movement. It feels like the DPI jumps from around 1000 to 8000-9000 DPI. The sensitivity eventually returns to normal on its own.
|
| Expected Result: |
Mouse and camera sensitivity should remain consistent with the configured settings at all times, including when close to Survivors

| Severity: |
Major
|
| Reproducibility: |
Frequently
|
| Platform: |
Steam
|
| Additional Notes & Comments: |
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Chroma. Normally used at around 1000 DPI. No DPI or sensitivity settings were changed. The mouse behaves normally outside Dead by Daylight.
|
Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Dead by Daylight on Steam.
- Start a match as Killer.
- Move the camera normally with the mouse and approach a Survivor at close range.
- At random moments when very close to the Survivor, the mouse/camera sensitivity suddenly increases dramatically.
- Move away from the Survivor or wait a few seconds. The sensitivity returns to normal without changing any settings.
Explanation
I recorded the issue. You can clearly see the camera sensitivity suddenly spike when I get very close to the Survivor, causing the camera to snap rapidly from side to side. Once I move away, the camera returns to normal. I am not intentionally moving the mouse that fast.
