Steps to Reproduce
- Bring Cross-Examination
- Follow a killer (not in chase or anything)
- Leave their trail
- With Fixated, you can see scratchmarks even though the buff is still active for 5 seconds
Explanation
The elusive gained from Cross-Examination does not linger for 5 seconds, instead it stops immediately even though you can visually see the buff count down on the right side. I was not in chase, nor was I attacked, so I should've kept my elusive
I was using Cross-Examination alongside Fixated and noticed that even though I should've still kept elusive, I was leaving scratch marks anyway. The scratch marks didn't appear when I was on the killer's trail, but the moment I left and the buff changed from persistent to 5 seconds remaining I began leaving scratch marks
In the video you can see I was out of chase when I used Head On, and then maintained Elusive during the entire time I was walking on the killer's trail. The moment I left, even though I still had elusive, I left a scratch mark
