| Actual Result: |
After aborting the tunnel entry animation, the Xenomorph is completely immune to blinding effects (e.g., from flashlights). The immunity persists until the Xenomorph fully enters a tunnel. The player can repeat the abort action to refresh the immunity at any time.
|
| Expected Result: |
The Xenomorph can be blinded normally at any time, including after aborting the tunnel entry animation.
|
| Severity: |
Major
|
| Reproducibility: |
Always

| Platform: |
Steam
|
| Additional Notes & Comments: |
The bug can be exploited repeatedly in a single match to maintain near‑constant immunity to blinding.
|
Steps to Reproduce
- Select the Xenomorph as your Killer.
- Approach any tunnel entrance on the map.
- Initiate the tunnel entry animation
- Before the animation completes, abort it
- Have a Survivor use a flashlight to blind you
- Observe: the blinding effect is ignored
- Attempt to repeat steps 3–4 to confirm that immunity can be refreshed
Explanation
When the Xenomorph cancels the tunnel entry mid‑animation, it becomes immune to blinding — a key counterplay tool for Survivors. The effect persists until the Killer successfully enters a tunnel. Critically, the player can repeat the abort action at any time, allowing them to refresh and maintain immunity indefinitely. This creates a severe balance issue, undermining Survivors’ ability to defend themselves.
