- Drive it - you'll see the rear right wheel turn with your front wheels.
Explanation
Vehicle: 2025 Ford Explorer Port Police Insert
Issue Description:
The 2025 Ford Explorer Port Police Insert has an issue with its rear wheel steering animation/rigging. One of the rear wheels turns when the front wheels are steered, causing the rear wheel to follow the steering input. The opposite rear wheel remains stationary.
This behavior is not realistic and does not match how the vehicle should operate. Rear wheels on this vehicle should remain fixed and should not steer with the front wheels.
Expected Behavior:
- Both rear wheels should remain straight at all times.
- Only the front wheels should turn when steering.
Actual Behavior:
- One rear wheel turns along with the front wheels while steering.
- The other rear wheel behaves normally.
This appears to be a wheel rigging or steering linkage configuration issue and should be corrected.
