Explanation
I know, "intermittent" is not what anyone wants to hear, but I haven't determined solid steps to reproduce. Simply experienced the game freezing on two separate occasions while browsing the tech tree. It ends up freezing my entire system and requires a hard reboot to fix. If I find more information I will update this post.
