Its worse with 2v8 mode, I think it taxes my GTX 1650 Nvidia graphics card too much or something. I have downloaded the most up to date video drivers..

- Use Steam to play DBD and the latest Denuvo Anti-Cheat software
Explanation
Denuvo anti-cheat and Steam is causing my system to lag, stutter, freeze and crash. The game becomes unplayable unfortunately and is even worse in the new 2v8 that just launched. I've never had these problems before the most recent update and I've been playing DBD for years on this system. I have a GTX 1650 card which is a few years old, but should be good enough and has worked fine in the past.
