The game runs normally for a few minutes, then freezes completely in the middle of a match. Both the image and the game stop responding. The entire PC locks up as well, and I have to restart the computer manually. This issue only occurs with Dead by Daylight.

Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Dead by Daylight from Steam.
- Starting a Survivor or Killer match
- Start of the game
- Playing normally for a few minutes or during loading—major freeze, forced to restart the system.
- Situation 1: Sound suddenly cuts out, and the game eventually freezes, leaving no way to do anything; the system has to be restarted.
- Situation 2: At one point during the game, the image froze completely and the audio glitched, looping the sound of the action that was currently taking place; I was forced to manually restart the system.
- Situation 3: several brief freezes in quick succession, followed by a few minutes of normal operation, then another major freeze that locks everything up, forcing a manual system restart.
Explanation
To put it simply, ever since the latest update introduced the new Denuvo anti-cheat, my game—Dead by Daylight—has been freezing constantly. The game freezes completely after a few minutes, sometimes locking up my entire PC and forcing me to hold down the power button to shut it off. These freezes often happen during a match, particularly during a chase. When the freezing occurs, I experience massive FPS drops and freezes lasting up to a minute before things resume, or I simply get disconnected—sometimes even receiving a disconnection penalty, even though I obviously didn't quit intentionally. My PC specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, RTX 3060 graphics card, and 8.00 GB of RAM (ASUsTeK PRIME A520M-K motherboard). DBD has started causing my entire PC to freeze since the anti-cheat change, whereas other games run normally. I’m not really sure what to do anymore, so I’m turning to you for help. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
