The crash occurred on August 29, 2026, at approximately 18:50 local time (UTC+3). I have attached two log files from around 18:44 and 19:01, which should cover the game session shortly before the crash and the session immediately after I restarted the game.

Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Dead by Daylight normally.
- Enter matchmaking.
- Join and play a match normally.
- Continue playing the match without intentionally disconnecting or leaving.
- At seemingly random points during some matches, the game suddenly crashes/closes.
- Launch Dead by Daylight again.
- A matchmaking disconnect penalty is applied to the account.
Explanation
Since the latest Dead by Daylight update, the game has started crashing unexpectedly during matches.
The issue does not occur every match, but when it happens, Dead by Daylight suddenly closes while I am actively playing. There does not appear to be an intentional disconnect or anything I am doing to leave the match.
After restarting the game, I receive a matchmaking disconnect penalty because the game treats the crash as if I intentionally left the match.
The main issue I am reporting is the unexpected game crash during an active match. The matchmaking penalty is a direct consequence of the crash.
Unfortunately, I have not found a guaranteed way to reproduce the crash because it appears to happen randomly.
The circumstances so far are explained in "steps to reproduce".
