This has happened several times with different survivors on different maps over the last few months. The HUD shows Victor attached both before and after the survivor escapes. After the escape, it shows the survivor Escaped icon with the Victor embellishment around it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Survivors finish 5 generators and open the exit gate
  2. Victor successfully lands an attack on a healthy survivor, causing him to latch on
  3. The survivor escapes the trial by running out the exit gate while Victor is still attached
