FPS progressively drops over time, causing constant stuttering and major gameplay disruption. In 2v8, this can happen much faster—sometimes during the first match.
Expected Result:
Game performance should remain stable during extended play sessions, including more demanding modes such as 2v8.

The issue does not occur in other games tested on the same system. GPU and CPU temperatures remain within normal ranges while the issue occurs, monitored using MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics Server. No crashes or error messages are displayed when the issue occurs. The issue occurs on both DX11 and DX12 launch modes. The issue was also tested on the 9.6.1 GPU Hotfix branch available on Steam, and the problem still persists.

Description:
After running the game for approximately 30 minutes or after several matches (1-4 matches), the game begins to suffer from severe FPS drops and heavy stuttering. Performance progressively degrades until the game becomes nearly unplayable.

This issue is significantly worse in 2v8 Mode. In that mode, the problem can occur within a single match, causing severe stuttering before the match ends.

When it started:
The issue first appeared after the 9.6.0 update and still persists on the current patch.

Troubleshooting / Fixes Attempted:
The following troubleshooting steps were attempted, but none resolved the issue:

1.Updated GPU drivers
2.Lowered graphics settings
3.Launched the game with both -dx11 and -dx12 launch options
4.Used ISLC (Intelligent Standby List Cleaner)
5.Verified game file integrity
6.Reset shader cache through AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition
7.Reinstalled the game
8.Deleted the Behaviour Interactive / Dead by Daylight AppData folder, then verified files and relaunched the game to generate a fresh configuration file

Result:
None of the above troubleshooting steps fixed the issue.
