On controller, once you go to watch the match after you perma die, there is no button to leave the match and you cannot leave until the game ends

Unable to leave spectating when on Midwich Elementary School

Can't leave the spectator view: After dying in-game, then spectating, I'm unable to leave. I have to wait until the match fully ends (last survivor dies or escapes) in order to move on.

When clicking spectate in DBD there is no way out of, no leave button or anything so we are stuck permanently spectating until the match is over.
