Improve Tool Acquisition and Mergeability for Better Gameplay Balance
I’ve been playing for a while, and honestly the biggest issue right now is how hard it is to get tools compared to how many are needed for repairs. The game keeps adding new content, which is great, but every new area or object just adds more things to fix and the tool requirements are way too high. The problem is that tools are extremely hard to obtain, especially for players who haven’t unlocked late-game systems like houses producing gems whatsoever. You can grind for a long time by merging, doing orders, clearing space, yes but still barely get any tools. It feels like the effort doesn’t match the reward, and you just get stuck looking at broken objects you can’t repair.
Tools should be part of normal gameplay. They should drop from things like harvesting, completing orders, or merging higher-level items, even if it’s not very often. At least that way, players feel like they’re slowly making progress. Also, tools (or tool fragments) should be mergeable, just like other items in the game. That would make grinding feel more rewarding and give players more control instead of relying on limited sources. Right now, the system just isn’t balanced. The game gives a lot to do, but not enough ways to actually do it.
Making tools drop and mergeable would fix a lot of the frustration and make progression feel much better for everyone.
