Adjust Daily Quest Reset Timer to Less Than 24 Hours to Prevent 'Time Creep'

Suggested by

Duplicate

TLDR: For a daily active player, on a semi-regular schedule, daily quest start times tend later and later due to "time creep" resulting from a 24-hour-upon-login reset window.

Context:

  • I am a more-or-less daily player.
  • I try to do daily quests every day
  • A week or two ago, my daily quests restarted at 8:45pm, which is when I can generally begin playing
  • If I log on late ONE TIME, (Like 10:30pm), then my daily quests will restart at 10:30pm from that moment forward. This is an example of what's known as "time creep", pushing to reset dailies later and later in the day.
  • Soon I'll be unable to even start them before sleeping.

Requested Solution: As is done in many other games with a flat daily quest cooldown (like League of Legends, New World, Overwatch, etc) , I am requesting that the daily quest timer should reset in slightly less than 24 hours. If the daily quests reset every 23 hours, or even 23.5 hours, this would let me "fight-back" against time-creep rather than having to stay up late or miss my daily quests.

Thanks for taking the time to read this! Hope you have a great day.
