Implement a Mandatory Law Enforcement Academy for LEO Team Participation
Dear development team, please add a standard LEO academy that every single officer have to pass to play on any LEO team, to participate the player have to be a verified member of the community, the course is run automatic like a game tutorial or run by volunteer instructor, this course is run by 3 module, the first one is the classroom, where cadet do self study or class room study, then they have to answer a 40 random law and procedure question that need to answer correct 35/40, then they have to write a essay about a scenario, this is to make sure their writing skill is enough to play normally and their critical thinking and problem solving is good enough, the next module is the field training, instructor will teach practical skill in a private server like rules of engagement, traffic stop, high speed chase, professional talk and do simulated role play situation, and the last (this is optional, you guys can add it or not), play as a probation officer on any LEO team, pair with a sergeant or a senior officer for one hour, both to learn the practical skills and to make sure the PO is ready, the supervisor will decide he pass or not, each module is expected to last from 40 minutes- 1 hour and can be completed in separate day or even weeks or months, like a college subject, this make the training flexible for everybody, for the 2 practical module (police academy and field training), multiple volunteer instructor will host a few course a day cover every time zone (for example 8 instructor host 1-2 course a day), and when the cadet pass all module they will earn a law enforcement officer certificate that last life long that is useful on almost every team, and when they want to do a specialist role or get a promotion they need to attend a short course to get the certificate for that role (supervisor, SWAT, investigator), so why should we waste time to invest in a system like this, this is to make sure every officer that graduate feel pride because they earn it, and it also make sure the quality of officer and roleplay standard is high, this will prevent incompetence, trolling players from getting the badge, other than that I think that some other role like future criminal justice team (judge, DA, lawyer) need to pass a standard law test, and even civilian players should do a simple 20 question driving knowledge and traffic law test to get their driver license, all of this is to keep the RP standard high.
