Introduce a One-Time Use Lockpicking Minigame for Immersive Access
Suggestion: Lockpicking System (Simple Version)
I’d like to suggest adding a lockpicking feature to make RP more immersive and fun. Players could use a lockpick item to try breaking into cars and doors through a small skill-based minigame instead of instant unlocking.
To keep it balanced and fair, lockpicks would be one-time use. This means every time a player tries to use one, it gets used up whether they succeed or fail.
To prevent overuse, lockpicks would also be limited in supply. For example, a tool dealer could only sell around 5 lockpicks per day, and once they’re sold out, players would have to wait a few in-game days for restock.
This keeps the system realistic, stops spam, and makes players think before using a lockpick while also creating more RP around getting them.
