One feature that could greatly improve realism and roleplay within Ventura Highway Patrol (VHP) would be the addition of a dedicated Motor Unit Division. This unit would consist of officers assigned to patrol motorcycles, allowing them to focus on traffic enforcement, highway safety, and rapid response in areas where standard patrol vehicles may be slower or less effective. Motor officers could specialize in tasks such as speed enforcement, aggressive driving stops, escorting convoys or special events, and navigating heavy traffic situations on major highways.

Adding police motorcycles would also create new roleplay opportunities, such as motor-only patrol shifts, traffic enforcement operations, and ceremonial escorts for events within the community. The unit could include unique uniforms like motor helmets, riding boots, and specialized traffic vests to visually separate them from regular VHP patrol units. This would not only increase department variety but also give players a new career path within VHP that focuses heavily on traffic enforcement and professionalism.

Overall, a Motor Unit would be a realistic addition used by many real highway patrol agencies, and it would expand the depth of law enforcement roleplay while making highway patrol operations feel more authentic and specialized.
